Kochia is an annual herb in the family Chenopodiaceae. The plant is also known as burningbush, summer cypress, and Mexican fireweed. It is native to Eurasia, but it has been introduced to North America, where it is considered an invasive weed. The plant grows to a height of 0.5-2 m.
